Process orders from POS
To process an order at toast POS, follow these steps:
- Login to toast POS
- Go to the Quick Order There, add the menu items
- press the Dining button, and choose a dining option
- If the customer wants to dine in, then select the “Dine In” option then tap the Pay Next, enter a name for the tab and proceed to payment.
- If the customer is looking for takeout :
- Select the “Takeout” option which opens the “Takeout Customer Information” tab
- There, search for the customer by entering the customer's name, email, or phone number.
- If the customer is registered, then the customer will appear on the match list else you can create a new customer.
- Select the customer and press Done
- Next, tap on the Pay button and proceed to payment.
- If the customer is looking for delivery:
- Select the “Delivery” option which opens the “Delivery Customer Information” tab
- There, search for the customer by entering the customer's name, email, or phone number.
- If the customer is registered, then the customer will appear on the match list else you can create a new customer.
- Select the customer and enter delivery address details then press Done.
- Next, tap on the Pay button and proceed to payment.
